Author's Notes: This has been a long time in the making. It's from personal experience, and from stories, and from my imagination. It's delicate and personal and I really enjoy it. I wasn't quite sure how to format it, though -- the chapters are made up of short stories. So I'm posting them one short story at a time.

Author's Notes: This originally started out as a chapter of a collab story between Invaderk and I, but after that kind of fell through, I decided to finish it for TOKKA WEEK! This is supposed to be half of a story/art duo, but my partner hasn't contacted me yet with the lovely art, so I'm just posting this now.
Toph and Sokka are partners in a dance contest thrown by Fire Lord Zuko in celebration of the anniversary of the war's end. They've danced together before at some random party the Fire Nation always seems to be having. Toph is 17-18, Sokka is around 20-21.

Author's Notes: With very little exception, this is basically where I think Stephenie Meyer could take Tanya's character (it would suit SMeyer's character style). However, I think Meyer might be a little more adventurous with Tanya because she's a minor character and doesn't need to be developed as profoundly as our main characters. Basically, I can see Tanya taking one of two very different roads personality-wise: 1, the road you would expect from Meyer; or 2, the road I think Meyer might take Tanya down (aka the unexpected). Either way, I'm excited. :)
